MPA'88 Classmates Attend White House World Trade Launch

President George Bush launched the World Trade Proposed Bill at the White House South Lawn on May 23, 2008. Richard Douglas MPA 88 , Executive of GE Aviation, and Chato Calderon MPA 88, Principal of Lawin Energy LLC, attended the event. GE is one of the major players in international trade capturing a majority of the aviation market in the world. President Bush launched the World Trade Week and discussed the economic benefits of the proposed Free Trade Agreement of the United States and Panama, Columbia and South Korea.
